Description
TMIST (the Tomosynthesis Mammographic Imaging Screening Trial). We hope to determine for women and their primary care providers whether the latest screening technologies - digital mammography and tomosynthesis - improve women's likelihood of survival through early detection of advanced breast cancer or whether they just increase the overdiagnosis of breast tumors that would not progress
